Bury's Scott Quigg made a very impressive debut under the Matchroom banner recently, and in doing so sent out a statement of intent to all the main players at super-bantamweight. Quigg, inactive since his superb demolition of big British rival Rendall Munroe back in November, recently signed for the irascible Eddie Hearn and showed his star quality in Bolton on Saturday night as he scythed down William Prado in three sessions. The 25-year-old barely wasted a punch against a Brazilian who had never been stopped going in, but who found Quigg's blend of power and precision way too much in the north west.
