July On July 6th Pound for pound champ Anderson Silva defends his title against challenger Chris Wiedman. What seems like an easy fight for champion Silva, does not seem so clear and cut according to other fighters. Many fighters including George St. Pierre see Wiedman pulling off the upset. I believe if Wiedman can utilize his wrestling like Chael Sonnen did to Silva in their first meeting then I believe Wiedman has a chance. August While there will be some good fights in August, I believe everyone was looking forward to Jose Aldo vs Anthony Showtime Pettis. Pettis recently had to pull out of the fight do to injury. This fight in my opinion could hsve been a contender for fight of the year....
